While getting ready, Matt cut his ear shaving and the darn thing would not stop bleeding! It must have bled for about three to four hours. Seriously. By that time, Gavin was already in bed and we were both too tired to go out (we're not as young as we used to be, you know). So, we ordered PF Chang's to go and enjoyed it in front of the TV at our house. Maybe we'll make it to dinner next year.
I can truly say that I fall more in love with my husband each and every day. He is a wonderful husband, father, and friend and I am so very thankful for our life together.

ReplyDeleteYou'll probably have a few more evenings like that as the years go by and you've been married longer, perhaps have more children, etc.
Sometimes the simple evenings at home, ordering in, watching TV together, are just as nice as going out. Especially when our days are busy, etc. LOL.
